 John Michael Wright is a Sydney-based singer, acoustic guitarist and songwriter. Originally from Essex, England, he has been entertaining audiences for many years around the pubs, bars and restaurants of Sydney.
 John is skilled at making a song his own, and knows how to woo a crowd with his relaxed acoustic sounds, beautiful vocals, intricate fingerpicking and upbeat sense of humour. His large repertoire of Americana, country and folk cover songs showcases his natural talent across these genres, and his warm onstage personality puts his listeners instantly at ease.
 As a creative songwriter, John has also produced a rich collection of original songs that reflect on his own life experiences, exploring the heartfelt joys and disappointments of life that any audience will relate to.
 John has had the pleasure of performing at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, and at venues including the Gasoline Pony in Marrickville, MoshPit in Newtown, Crow Bar in Crows Nest, Flat Rock Brew Café in Naremburn and Sappho Bar in Glebe.
